Top Ten Tuesday: Summer TBRs

Happy Top Ten Tuesday (hosted by The Broke and the Bookish and created by The Perpetual Page Turner!) Welcome to this week's topic: Top Ten Books You'd Recommend As Good Beach Reads.

Released this Summer
1. Endlessly by Kiersten White I'm obsessed with Evie. I get super excited slash scared slash worried slash thirsty when I think about finishing this series.
2. Such a Rush by Jennifer Echols Have I rambled on enough about this one yet? No? Well I CANNOT WAIT. Jennifer Echols = the top of my author crush list.
3. The Treachery of Beautiful Things by Ruth Francis Long I love this title because it also applies to the book itself, which is super beautiful. Though I hope it's only treacherous in all the right ways, if you know what i mean....
4. Timepiece by Myra McEntire I'm going to need to reread Hourglass before I plunge in, but I definitely remember LOVING the Southern feel, the family aspect, and the Hottie McTottie boys. Anyone read this yet?
5. The Thing About the Truth by Lauren Barnholdt This may be a little TMI, but the blurb sounds kind of like a summary of my high school life. And her name is Kelsey, so I'm super worried/excited that this is my secret biography. (No joke)

Left on my List of Ten
1. Bitterblue by Kristin Cashore I'm saving this one until I can dedicate a full day to it. I don't want anyone interrupting me in the middle, lest they *accidentally* lose a limb from my wrath.
2. Don't You Wish by Roxanne St. Claire Yikes. I sooo need to get on this....
3. Dreamless by Josephine Angelini I'm really excited for this one, but the problem is I consumed Dreamless via audio. The second book is only out for reading, and I'm super reluctant to switch medias.
4. Brightly Woven by Alexandra Bracken Via a recommendation from the lovely Natalie at Mindful Musings. I promise I'm going to get to it soon so we can discuss!!
5. I'd Tell You I Love You, But Then I'd Have to Kill You by Ally Larter I like her writing style, but I wanted way more romance from Heist Society. However, I hear the swoon factor is up in this one!

Happy Reading all!

  1. Oh, I would LOVE to discuss Brightly Woven with you! :) I honestly need to do a reread at some point, because it's been two years since I last read it, but I definitely loved it when I read it then! And I still remember all the major characters and plot points. :D But it's one of those books that I want to reread now and see if it's still just THAT awesome, you know? :)

  2. Timepiece was A-MAZ-ING but definitely reread Hourglass, there is very little recap so it's a needed reread.

I really want to start Graceling sometime this summer, and I need to read Supernaturally sometime soon!

    Here's my TTT

  3. I KEEP ON SAYING I'LL READ FOUR but haven't yet. I definitely need to re-read Hourglass before it too but I've been lazy. I'm with you on wanting more romance from Heist Society. I've only read the first book of Gallagher Girls but heard it gets even better from there.

  4. I'm reading Don't You Wish right now! I'm really enjoying it. It's a great summer read! Such a Rush was definitely awesome - Jennifer Echols is pretty much towards the top of my author crush list too =)

  5. I love Lauren Barnholdt's books so I am very much looking forward to her new one. I hope you enjoy Bitterblue as much as I did!

  6. I need to catch up on the Evie series! I have Dreamless, but I haven't had a chance to read it yet. I'd better get on that!

    Great list!

Also, I cannot wait to get my hands on Golden Lily! Hope you are loving it!

  7. We have Such a Rush in common. And I hope to fit Don't You Wish in this summer too.
    Happy summer reading!

  8. The Treachery of Beautiful Things is on my list too! I've gotten about ~35 pages in before I had to set it aside for something else, but it's already promising to be a fantastic read. And the cover is gorgeous, I like just looking at it on my table haha. I'm dying to read Such A Rush, too!

    Happy reading :)
    My Top Ten

  9. Awesome books! The Treachery of Beautiful Things has been on my list for a LONG time ... the cover is just so pretty! I also really love the Such a Rush cover ... and I've heard awesome things about Jennifer Echols. Same thing with Kristin Cashore ... that series looks AMAZING!

Hope you get them all read!

  10. The Treachery of Beautiful Things is definitely one I want to read as well! And TImepiece. I loved hourglass so I should definitely read the sequel soon!

  11. Great list. Love your blog! New follower.

  12. I need to look into I'd Tell You I Love You, But Then I'd Have to Kill You! That's a great title! Happy reading!
